The National Youth Organization (SONYO Umbrella), in collaboration with the ActionAid Somaliland, organized a debate in which officials from political parties and various political organizations in Somaliland participated. The event was aimed at providing a platform for the political parties to present their political programs to the youth of Somaliland, fostering an open dialogue on the issues that matter most to the younger generation. Special attention was given to discussing the interests and roles of young people in shaping the political landscape, as well as how political parties can better address youth concerns, including employment, education, and civic participation. The discussion also emphasized the importance of youth engagement in the upcoming elections and their role in contributing to the country’s democratic processes.
